The Ministry of Commerce said at a regular press conference on 30 November that, with regard to the export control of gallium and germanium, since the implementation of the control policy on 1 August this year, the Ministry of Commerce has received applications for permits for the export of gallium and germanium-related items from enterprises. After review in accordance with the law, the Ministry of Commerce has approved some of the export applications in line with the provisions of the relevant enterprises have been dual-use items export licence. The Ministry of Commerce will continue to review other licence applications and make decisions on whether to grant licences in accordance with the law.
