Safety precautions during the manufacturing of titanium alloy:
(1) To avoid creating enough heat during processing to start a fire, employ sharp slicing, regulate the slicing rate and cutting time, and use the proper lubricating oil for cooling (mineral oil is the safest cutting coolant; avoid using water-soluble Jl solution).
(2) The processing area and its surroundings must be maintained cool and dry. They must also be fitted with fire safety features and have adequate open space for a fire to spread unhindered.
(3)Keep combustible materials away from the processing area and avoid placing flammable objects close by.
(4)Setting up an oxygen system or other equipment close to the operation site is not permitted.
(5)Titanium fine dust is removed during dry grinding by employing dust removal equipment after wet grinding and choosing the proper coolant.
(6) To prevent the adherence of titanium chips or powder and potential injury, clean the operating machinery often and get rid of the cut debris as soon as feasible.
